Our newest rescue Daisy

Hi All

Here is our newest rescue Daisy who is in Canada. A huge thanks to Tifflun for helping get her out and caring for her. Daisy is in foal and very much foundered. Our big concern right now is her abcesses. She was being kept in manure and had a yearling colt still nursing off her with a foal due in the next weeks. Not a good situation. As soon as I can download the video I will post it but Ill warn you it will break your heart. She cannot walk right and is in a ton of pain. Vet is due out monday so Im praying we can help her and that shes not too far gone. If everyone could send good thoughts and prayers to daisy please do!!

Notice how she stand with her hind legs underneath her. This is to relieve the pain. Also notice the huge crest on her neck. they were literally killing her with food

[SIZE=18pt]That poor baby. I just can't understand why people do this to their animals. She kind of looks like my Smarty. I wish I had moore room and a nother barn, so I could foster more of these rescues and find them loving homes. Good luck with her.[/SIZE]
