Bambino grew to be a big little guy. He's definitely gone over 38" and I was wondering if I need to notify AMHR about it. I would think they would want to know so they could clear his temporary papers.

Now guess I need to contact POA and see about getting him registered there.

With either A or R, if/when a horse has demonstrably outgrown the maximum allowable height, the rules are that that horse's registration papers are to be turned in and cancelled. I believe(though am not 100% certain) that if you wish to have the papers returned to you, for whatever reason, you can request it and that will be so...the papers will just reflect that the registration has been cancelled(but you will still have them as an 'official' record of the horse's age and background.)

Kudos to you for wishing to follow the rules....!

I just did something like that with Theia. She out grew her A papers by just a smidge, so I turned them in.

She is only R registered now,, which is just fine.

Glad you are doing the right thing!! :aktion033:
