I promis this is my last hard feed question...

My new feed is as follows per kilo. 1 kilo is 2 lbs, and I will be feeding this (1 ls in am 1 lb in pm ) with a good quality hay and handful of staw, for snacking .

crude protien 7%

crude fat 2%

crude fiber 25%

crude ash 6 %

calcium 4grams

phosphorus 2 grams

sodium 1 gram

magnesium .3 g

vit A , D3, and 37 mg Vit E

this does not containe Silinium, and it is not in our soil, so i will have to add that,

does anyone know if there is a natural source of silinium ?

Is this a reasonible amout of nutrition per day with dry alp grass hay added? My pasture grass is very limited this year as we have had a terrible spring with no sun, so the grass just isnt growing, so they are getting little to no nutrition in the pasture at the moment. They look good , healthy.

thanks nutrition experts

That doesn't sound like enough protein, generally you want 12%. Calcium / Phosophorus ratio should be something like 1.2-2 parts calcium to 1 part phosphorus.

Sounds like you need to hunt around for a feed that has the right combination of elements of nutrition instead of you trying to compensate for everything.
