Puppy pictures!!!

[SIZE=14pt]Just took some pics for people that are wanting a puppy so I thought I would share with you all too. This is the litter from Babs and Laredo. Both Piebalds. There are 5 boys... I should get a dufus award because I thought Blackie was a girl and even put that on the litter reg and now I have to figure out how to get that changed!

: Anyway. We have 3 chocolate pies and two black and tans. Blackie and Billy are the black and tans and the Chocolates are Charlie, Chip and Chilly. Arent they CUTE![/SIZE]

Awwww, you're making me mush all over again! I just love those little faces and button noses!! There's this color pattern that I really fell in love with in the Doxies. It almost looks like a blue mixed....(kinda like you would see in an Australian Cattle Dog.) I don't know the proper name for this color.....do you breed them? (Oh just realized.....are these the Corgis or the Doxies?)

[SIZE=14pt]These are Doxie puppies and no they wont go roan...they will lighten up a bit, the chocolate boys will, but if they freckle like mom they would be born with them. The color Sterling is refering to is a black and tan dapple that appears blue merle. Merle isnt a term found in Doxies. Dapples and Double dapple is. I dont currently have any dapples but I am planning on breeding one of my solid girls to a dapple . Piebalds like these boys come from two pie parents. I bred the pie dad to a solid blue mom which is a dilute color and got dilute red babies with little white patches on their chests, one has it on her feet . You have to then breed the one carrying the spotting to a pie in order to get that pattern. Very interesting genetics involved. I love that aspect of this.[/SIZE]
