We've been busy around White Tail the last couple months - haven't fallen off the face of the earth as some may think - just busy foaling! And breeding and installing new fences and new buildings, etc. LOL
While we currently have 9 foals on the ground already (yep sleep deprived and way behind on announcements) we just have to let you know how SWEET A DEAL we really did get with the LKF Lets Make a Deal !
We purchased LK Buckeroo Ivory - a cremello double bred Buckeroo daughter with many greats in her line. Her dam is pretty impressive we learned afterwards. You can read all about Ivory on the foal announcement (2010 Foal Page) on our brand new website.
When we purchased Ivory - she was in foal to Little Kings Bay Ablaze, 2004 AMHA World Champion Sr Stallion 28-30". Sadly, Little King lost Ablaze last year and are expecting only a handful of foals from him this year. Imagine our excitement when Robin notified us that Ivory had just foaled a beautiful filly with 2 crystal blue eyes and appeared to be champagne in color! oh my gosh!
We are so grateful to Robin & Marianne for allowing us to participate (and clearly win big it seems now!) in their "Lets Make a Deal" special sale. Following the birth of this fabulous filly, we not only made a deal but got the deal of the century! LOL
Ivory will now be bred to Little Kings Supreme Dream, a 30.5" Palomino son of Komokos Little King Supreme and is out of Wittmaacks Freckles- a Johnstons Gold Boy daughter. This is sure to be another fantastic foal in 2011! Thank you Little King!
Now we await Little King Ebony Buck's foal - she's due mid-May. Our first purchase in the Lets Make a Deal sale. Healthy and live we'll take first - the rest is just a bonus.
We're expecting 7 more foals here at White Tails. You can check out what we have so far on the foals page as just too much to announce here all at once since we're so far behind.
The foals are coming fast and furious and Kelly Roe, our webmaster has done a fantastic job getting all the data posted in an extremely timely manner - I don't know how she keeps up. She'll probably be the most excited when our foaling season is complete. LOL Thank you Kelly!
Congrats to everyone on their new babies - we do try to peek in on the announcements as often as we can - some beautiful foals are arriving all over the country! Hopefully we'll get some free time soon to start posting again.
Thanks for sharing in our excitement - Don't pass up opportunities for special programs offered at LKF - - you too could get the deal of the century!
