Rest In Peace

My best friend, companion, and constant shadow, he knew how to comfort me when I was down, and it was my turn to comfort him and let him go to be free of pain. Young and old were entertained by his many tricks, he loved to be the center of attention. He enjoyed going Christmas caroling, he would always "sing" along to We Wish You A Merry Christmas. He was the best snuggler ever, he loved climbing under my sweatshirt to curl up when I read or watched TV, snuggle under or on fuzzy blankets, and curl up under the covers with me at night. He followed me all over the farm, and supervised many training sessions and a few foalings when it wasn't too cold.

13 years wasn't long enough....I will miss you, Tucker!

I am so very sorry for your loss,,,,,he just looks like a best friend!

My dog just turned 15 in Oct., and that makes me nervous, but what a wonderful life!

Awwwwww Kim.......What an adorable little guy Tucker was. I know how much pain you are feeling right now and what it took for you to free him of his. This was surely one of the most important gifts you could have ever given him, the ultimate unselfish love. Don't hold back the tears. He is kissed by everyone of them. Please except my condolences from my heart. I am so so so very sorry.

I know your sadness..I had a pug for 18 years that was my shadow..my very best friend and I had to make the decision to let her go. It just takes time..each day will be a little easier. Rest in peace sweet Tucker...my deepest sympathy to his family.

I'm sorry little Tucker is no longer with you; but they're never really gone as long as we think of them with love.

I think one of the quotes in my signature says a whole lot about loving our animal kids.

My heart gos out to you. It is so hard to say good bye, I lost my girl in August and I still feel like weeping when I think of it, but I am able to smile when I remember her too. Time will help you heal, you did the right thing for little Tucker.

So sorry for the loss of your dear friend Tucker. He was obviously very much loved, and will be greatly missed!

Old Dogs Never Die

We have a secret, you and I,

That no one else shall know,

For who, but I can see you lie,

Each night, in fireglow?

And who but I can reach my hand

Before we go to bed,

And feel the living warmth of you

And touch your silken head?

And only I walk woodland paths

And see, ahead of me,

Your small form racing with the wind,

So young again and free.

And only I can see you swim,

In every brook I pass,

And, when I call, no one but I

Can see the bending grass.
