Now that the Schooling Clinic has come and gone, it's time for our area's first show of the year...and I can hardly wait!

So are you going? This is a great show, whether as a warmup for show season or just for fun, even for unregistered minis.

We'll be there with both Mingus and Scarlett in halter and liberty classes, and Mingus in jumping and (if we're really brave) in green driving...

This is a new venue for this show...we can no longer refer to it as "the Boring show," as it is now in McMinnville rather than Boring. Since Mingus was originally rescued from the McMinnville area, I have a fantasy that the person who thought he was a throway might see what an incredible horse he is now! Silly, I know...

Anyway...who will be there?

Not me, sadly. It was all I could do to get the weekends off this month for the Schooling Clinic and the Happ's ADT, they'd kill me if I asked for another one in March. McMinnville is just too far....

Well, Sharon and I won't be able to make it this year. Sharon will be in Scottsdale for an AMHR Show at Arthur Ramirez's and then the Touch of Class Show. I will be in Albany at the Northwest Horse Fair and Expo. I hope all will go - it's a great event and a great judge - Roger Eitel. Ya'all have fun.

I won't be there either, sadly... good luck, take lots of pictures, and tell us how it went!
