:aktion033: I am so excited. My mare was off her feed yesterday morning, so I was keeping a close eye on her. I checked her last night around 11 when I went to bed, and when I woke up a little after 1, there she was. I couldn't believe it. The mare was just passing the afterbirth and she was still very wet and barely standing. She is eating well and seems healthy. I'm not sure on the color. Mom is bay and dad is cremello, so I would assume buckskin, but she is a light mousy grey. Could she be gruella? I've never seen a newborn buckskin, can they change that much? Any girly Christmas name ideas? Noel is the one that comes to mind. Merry X-mas everyone. Lori

No idea on color....I am not familiar with cremello coloring, we have had several grulla QH foals born here, and they looked pretty similar in color to yours....but again, I'm not familiar with cremello.
