Show halter advice

I may try to show this year and if I do I will need show halters. I know styles and trends come and go. Is there anyone on here who is currently showing and can give me advice?

Actually when it comes to minI show halters, trends do not change very much. A nice cable halter--your choice of style/color, conchoes or no--is always appropriate for open halter. Stock halter you will want a western show halter. For showmanship or performance halter, (obstacle or jumping), you want a western style halter, with or without silver. My favorite cable halters are Victor and Showtime. BKM also has nice ones.
