I know we have lots of girls here who have been taking pics of themselves to hand out for Sr pictures.... found this one of Katie in the drawer this week and thought I would share. She was soooooo absorbed in her horses and her last year in 4h. This pic shows who she really was and they took it at school! My mother , from the old school of graduation pictures in a black top etc.... thought this was nuts but it really was how we enjoyed seeing Katie the most so now her 11X14 is this.

And Katie now , a mom herself with dreams of Robbys graduation!

Katie's then picture really reminds me of me

. She's into what she's into no matter if the rest of the world is or not. You don't see too many people who are willing to go against the grain just to be who they really are. Kudos to her for being that way and to you for allowing her to

. Now she looks like a wonderful mother to an adorable little boy.

That really is who she STILL is inside..... My mom never let me do the things that said who I was.... I wanted to make sure that my three kids became who THEY were because THEY wanted to... I am so proud of all of them. My son Jason is 26 and has his own home and a 100 thosand dollar a year job which we thought he would never get developing homeland security software for the government. He was the book worm computer egg head. Katie,25 is a great mom with a job as an office manager in a company of all men! and my youngest Amy .23 has a degree in early child hood education, is married, is an adminiastrator of a day care and is only now selling her horse....she held on as long as she could lol. I thank God everyday for the people my children are!

This is really funny you posted this, we got our daughters senior pictures in Friday! Yes we did get some of the traditional because that is what they will put in the yearbook, but you were allowed to bring whatever you wanted for your own pictures to order and here she is in the schools thing and hers!

She is such a great kid, with a big heart and kind soul. I am very proud to claim her as my daughter.
