As some of you know, I have made O So a new stall. I was wondering if I should have some sort of light in there at night? He has stayed in it for about 2 weeks now with no light, or what light the red light in the birds aviary puts out. Which is not much on O So's stall area. I stood in there tonight and turned the light off and it gets pretty dark in the stall. He does have half the outside door open that the night light comes in, but that's not much either.
Reason I all of a sudden got concerned is because tonight when I went to give him his last feeding and put him in his stall, he was acting kind of anxious. When I first went outside he was standing looking outside the yard. Really looking and listening. When I made noise coming out, he took off running toward me, then turned and ran back to the same spot and looked outside the yard again. I looked to see if there was some type of animal out there or person, and didn't see anything.
Once I got him to come in the stall, I had to almost tackle him to get to the door before he went back out. He was still really anxious. I locked him in the stall with just the top door open to the outside. He would run to the door, look out intently, then run around the stall. Then he would do the same again. I decided to leave the light on in the garage for now, but I was wondering, should I put a night light in there? Or do you guy's think he will be ok with little light that is in there?
Thanks for your help, again!
