Ok, so everyone knows that ol' saying: "Star light, star bright, the first star I see tonight. I wish I may. I wish I might have this wish I wish tonight." Right? Well, last night while going out to the shed to grab a flashlight to play with my Jack Russell with (he loves to chase the beam of light

: ), the sky was so clear and the stars were so brilliant so I softly spoke the Star light saying and wished that I would win the lottery this week. Well, guess what???? Yup, I won!!! A whole whopping $3!!! :new_shocked: Not exactly the total wish I was thinking of, but hey, I won, right? :bgrin

Well seems to me that next time when wishing you need to be a tad more specific

Wow... I think maybe you should go talk to those stars again and tell them the next time they need to add "a few more" zeros!

Y'know what? I've had more than one wish come true when wishing on stars.

I love to look up at them and wish and dream...

There is something just magical about a black velvet winter night sky and the stars strewn over it like jewels. The colors amaze me. When I was little, I could have figured all the stars were pretty much the same color-white, but it's not so. One of my faves is Betelgeuse, the right shoulder (our left) of Orion, the Hunter. It is very red...and a close second is Arcturus, a golden-red.

But...for a real treat, Algol is #1, the demon star!

Maybe just change which star you wish on and you might definitely add some zeros to that lottery jackpot. Or be more specific, period! *LOL*

Congratulations, that's a neat story.

Keep lookin' up and wishing!

Funny  Now you know you must be specific. I wished on many a star when I was a little girl growing up in Florida - Ofcourse a "Horse" was always #1, but the other 2 main ones were snow and a farm full of boys (for some reason I always wanted 6 sons

: ). Well here I am 30+ years later on my farm in PA (where it snows), my horses and my 4 wonderful sons

I also love to wish on the stars, but I guess one should be a bit more specific. But it did buy something. :new_shocked:

LOL,.....Maybe the next few times,...it'll get bigger and bigger,...Keep trying!
