: This is exactly what I think of the groundhogs prediction for more winter! I am so aggravated right now, trying to do things outside that need to be done and it takes three times as long and twice as much trouble. I LOVE snow usually, collect snowmen in my house, but I have had it. I am ready for some spring flowers 70 days and 55 degree nights! I want to pull my clippers out and see what is under all that hair! I want it to stay light until at least 8 outside! :xbud:

We've had a mild winter so far...and tonight in thru tomorrow we'll be paying for it. Over a foot of snow has been predicted and we've spent most of the day prepping for it. Gasing up vehicles, lubing and gasing up the snowblower and it's at the ready, salt is in the kitchen, shovels hanging in the barn at hand...etc...etc...etc.....oh yea and stocked up on the necessities last night, bread, milk...and chocolate candy! My poor day lillies that have popped out will be very dissappointed.

I do like prairie dogs better than ground hogs now! :bgrin

Our winter here has been pretty mild to, I think that is part of my problem. Some days it is way too warm for the horses with their long hair and then overnight it drops down to below freezing. One day I am wearing just a sweatshirt, then like tonight I am wearing coveralls. Went to Wal-Mart earlier and they had the tulips out, very pretty. Ready for spring here, even tho the weather isn't.
