:bgrin Munchie and I made our first foray at driving in public on Sunday. We went on a pleasure drive at Westfield Heritage Village, we drove all around the village, through the covered bridge and out on the beautiful trails through the woods for a couple of hours. It was such a blast and Munchie was so good, he didn't even spook when a large, grouse flushed right under his nose. There were two other minis there as well, Willie who owns (Lori) of Milo Minis and Melissa (sorry can't remember your last name) with Benny. There was a nice haflinger, a team of morgans and several other large horses. We all belong to Tri County Carriage Association and some of the members regularly drive at Westfield on a Sunday and at special festivities there so they gave us a free day of driving, the only stipulation we had to be out by 3 pm as they were having a wedding in the village at 4. Many thanks to Lori who helped me adjust the harness and lent me a pad.

Here are some pics:

Thanks Charlene, I had such a big grin on my face all day, I looked like the cheshire cat :bgrin It is an amazingly beautiful place, it was my first visit but I will go again needless to say. I think Munchie enjoyed it too.

thanks Ferin, we are very lucky to have the village to drive in, it is about an hours drive from here but well worth it, I am just sorry I didn't get some photos of the other horses.
