Hi,

OK,, I want to get excellent Quality prints done of a couple of my paintings.

Susanne or others that live in our area... could you recommend a outstanding print shop to deal with?

Trying to figure out some way to make a little money,, so decided to try selling high quality prints.

While there are some very good printers close at hand in Longview and St. Helens, you are looking for something a little more complicated. Most print shops are set up for printing large quantities, and are also not set up for high quality scanning. The upper end service bureaus and photo reprographic companies have both top notch scanning and fine art quality color output, but you'll need to go into Portland.

I would talk to Wy'East and Revere Graphics in Portland and get prices on both high quality scanning AND high quality output options. They will be able to discuss a range of prices from very reasonable (but perhaps not the quality you want) to art museum quality (and corresponding price). Somewhere in that range you will find what you want.

I haven't looked recently, but they each may have price lists on their websites...I'll look later to see if they do. Either way, let me know if you want anything clarified or have more questions.
