For all of you here in Michigan, heads up! If ya dont have a Equine Dentist, here's one to keep in mind.

Greg from Superior Equine Dentistry did a awesome job on all 7 of my minis today. From pulling and cutting teeth to floats and balancing them out, I was very happy with the great job he did. Very friendly and worked my minis with great care. And his pricing was a shocker! $30 per mini and if need to do more detailed work, thats only when the bill got a little bigger. In the end I paid anywhere from $40-$55 per mini. I was very happy with the bill.

I could'nt ask for such a nicer guy to handle my babies and would'nt hesitate using him again!

Every horse was perfect little angles for him and all stood great for their teeth being done. He even had a much more apperciation for minis knowing that not all have bad bites and not all rear and fight when having him there. He could'nt believe how well behaived they all where and how cute as well. He even fell in love with my 27" 3yr old buckskin jr mare.

Everyone will be a little sore, but with all that was done, I know for a fact, they will all be happy to eat properly now and will be confertable after the soreness goes away.

In the meantime, I have quit the little suvioner pile of teeth on my counter of all different sizes from all my babies!

This describes our equine dentist as well! He had little exposer to miniatures and had found them difficult to handle and bad bites. He could not say enough times how "perfect" my hard keeper mare's bite was. Was just astonished by it!

Congrats for finding this great resource for your "kids".

Ditto! So glad you found someone to work on your horse's teeth. I have my horses checked every year while ours is here, just because. I'd rather know that they are doing fine rather than wonder about it, and same thing, know they are chewing well to get what they need out of their food. This really impacts their health and overall well being. Isn't it an amazing education to see what all goes on in your horse's mouth?

That is a great price! I think that the equine dentist is just about as valuable as the vet!

The first time our equine dentist came out, he spent a lot of time teaching us! He carries a full sized horse skull in his car so he can better explain all the intricacies of a horses mouth. I got quite the education that day!

Congratulations Mindy, You are way south of me but I did find a good one up here out of Big Rapids, he is a tad more expensive than your's but he is good and treats my mini's good. After paying a huge vet bill for my big horses teeth I found him and he sure saved me a lot of money on my older mares who need it often.

Thanks for sharing.
