The suspense is killing me. Is this terrorists, asteriods, aliens, what could this Event be??? I can't wait. Sandwiches for dinner on tv trays in the living room with nachoes and cheese and popcorn for sure.

I have my recorder set for The Event also.

What I am wondering is - will we know tonight, or is this the premiere for a long, long series which will keep us hanging like Lost did for a few years?

I found it really confusing and exciting and I don't have a clue what is going on but I can't wait till next Monday night for more!

Hard to believe I watched for an hour and still didn't figure out what was going on with The Event.

I thought the frequent flashbacks and flash-forwards were distracting. Perhaps there is not supposed to be any continuity...

I'll watch next week, but I don't know how many weeks I will continue to watch.

I taped it last night, but haven't watched it yet.Is it supposed to be about only ONE 'Event', or a different one every week?

I did watch the new "Hawaii 5-0"; anyone else? It may be OK; I'll have to watch more to decide. I loved the original series...partly because back then, it reminded me of Hawaii when I was there at the U. of H. as a freshman, not that many years before(in the year it BECAME the 50th state...1959.)

I'll give it another watch or so, but the flashbacks and jumping forward make it hard to follow...at least it means I have to pay attention lol, something I don't always do with tv.

I (like several of you) am still undecided about it. I thought it did, in some ways, have the same freel as 24 and that was a good show. I'll give it a chance but not sure for how long.
