Update on life at Silversong Farm...

Finally, after getting a PICC line installed from my arm to my heart to fight off a nasty infection in my twice-surgerized knee in July, I am getting it out tomorrow.

Got bucked off of Enterprise twice 2 weeks ago - sore tailbone and slight concussion (even with a helmet on but my knee is OK), decided I am a bit too old and don't bounce like I used to so my Morgans will go to college to get broken so I don't.

Nefertiti has a visit with the horse dentist next week to resolve eating problems our veterinarian could not find an answer to...

Freedom had blood work drawn on Monday to see if she has a thyroid problem - despite a diet she is gaining weight in all the wrong places... will have results by Friday....

Mercy will be on local TV next Thursday and has a service visit on Saturday the 6th in conjunction with her TV appearance - all to help our local humane society...

Despite speed bumps in the road of life, I turned 43 today and am ready for 43 more! Surgeon is holding off on knee surgery #5 after the infection I had...next time I need my whole knee reconstructed...

Freedom does not have any thyroid issues - they came back normal.

PICC line is out of my arm/heart... yay!

Will investigate further bloodwork before I resign Freedom as just "fat"....
