I am very happy to say that my horse Circle A Sir James and his rider Cali Pierce of Blitz Huf Miniatures tied for Reserve Champion Leadline with only attending 3 shows in our area. :aktion033: :488: :488: Both Cail and James are doing the happy dance.

I am very proud of Cali. She tried very hard this year.

THANKS Jen for posting the pictures.

I think James looks pretty for being 12 this year. (twice as old as Cali :bgrin )

I forgot to add that our Mare - KDS Short Stuff FES Toy Storm tied for 9th in the Mare & Foal of Current Year with only showing at one show. :new_shocked: That was a shock for me.

Thank all of you for the nice comments.

Ernie face looks a little funny because he was body clipped but his head and legs had not been done yet. He really does not have that much of a beard when clipped.

but he is a very harry monister right now. :new_shocked:

Deb, Congratulations..sonds like your really doing good this year? Have you done any more showing with Buckshot? Corinne

Thanks Corinne

I think I showed Buckshot 3 times in 2005. He went to the Hookstown AMHR show and took 2nd with all 3 judges in both Yearling Stallion over and Amateur Halter Stallion over. At our TSMHC 4th of July fun show he was Grand Champion Stallion B. And we also took him to our county fair which had over 70 miniature horses showing. He took 5th out of 8. But the mini's are not broken down by height so everyone 38 inches and under show in the same class. The judge was going with the shorter horses in all of the classes. So I was happy he placed. Actually he looked like he was in the wrong age group because most of the horses were about 6 -8 inches shorter. :new_shocked:

We will for sure be taking him to the fair. And maybe our AMHR show. He is so excitable around mares now, wants to talk to everyone that walks by. I am not sure how he will act around other mares. He just wants to breed everything in sight.

I know he is young but I am going to try him on 2 of my larger mares this year.
