Hello,
Being a new mini owner(addicted of course) I don't know how well this works.
I have been thinking of having my yearling colt trained for cart when he is old enough. That said, I thought about my coming 6 year old gelding that is my first horse. When I purchased him he had just been a pasture stud. He has never been mean but he had not been handled alot. He is now gelded and has been come a sweetie, he is still the boss of his little herd of geldings and very young colts. To get to the question I had. Could he be trained at this stage? I think so.
Do others have experience in a situation like this. He is approx. 32" and pretty stocky. Sorry about the long post.
Debbie
