Tulip farm visit

Tracy and I went to a tulip farm yesturday where there are over 40 acres of breathtaking tulips! Tulips are my favorite flower, so I was in heaven!

: Tracy took these pics (sorry if they are big) and I want your opinions on whether any (and if so, which) should be entered in the farm's photo contest!

I especially like the first two. Ok, I like ALL of them, but I think photos showing the "farm" are always spectacular.

The 2nd and 5th one! They are so breathtaking!!! That 5th pic is so beautiful...you can see the beads of water on the petals.

: I thought the pale pink ones were my fave color, until I went to this farm...now I just can't decide on a fave color...so now all tulip colors are my faves...LOL! :lol:

She also got some great daffodil and rhody pics if anyone wants to see those?

Those are wonderful pictures! can you imagine being able to look outside your windows and see fields like those!

wow, those are really beautiful! I planted quite a few bulbs last fall, tulips and daffodils and crocus, and peonies and iris, all are coming up now but only the crocus have bloomed so far. I've got a LOT more flowers to plant this spring, but it sure won't look like those 40-plus acres of flowers as far as the eye can see, that is impressive!

Do you know if they grow them to sell for cut flowers, or bulbs, or just what? Curious. Thanks for sharing those pics!
