update on BODIE

[SIZE=14pt]just thought every one would like to see the improved BODIE ..he is doing VERY well now and is steadily gaining weight he loves to eat ...has a GREAT personality and is in all just a big love . after the vet worked on his teeth he has gained alot of weight as the pic's will show its going to be a long time getting him right but its well worth the effort it is taking to hear him greet you in the morning's [/SIZE]

he helps you do what ever you are doing with a watchful eye..we just love this old horse

as we said he has a long way to go but for now is on the road to recovery

Wow! What a pretty boy he is! Was it simply his teeth that caused his malnutrition?

I stopped the other day and talked to a man with a horsethat looked a bit worse than Bodie (probably like he did when you got him). He said his girlfriend wouldn't give her up - she loves her too much :no: . The horse was so sweet - but she's starving to death because of eaither parasites or bad teeth or both. I offered to help get her horse to a rescue but I haven't heard from her. If I don't...I'll have to turn her in. I hate to, but the horse won't make it through winter.

Turn her butt in. If she loved that horse it wouldn't be looking the way it does. I have had my family eating beans and leg quarters for a week just to take my horse to the vet to save it's life. Now that is love. LOL. Husband hates chicken now!
