Just thought I would update you on the last of the trio that was rescued last month Dan. He was extremely obese and had foundered had some pretty weird things going on with his feet and had some trust issues.
He is about 8-9 years old-stallion and the sweet heart
: of the group. This is a boy who thinks before he acts, he likes to watch and get a feel for how things are going. He still has some pretty intresting trust issue but is working on it. The farrier :aktion033: has been out to start on getting his hoofs back in shape. He has never ever offered to bite , kick or rear :bgrin . He will come and visit with a group of people but does prefer a quick sniff and watch from a far, but does love one on one attention is slowly remebering that people are O.K.
: He is a very good boy around the girls just needs a quick reminder to mind his manners. He is losing weight and his feet are getting better. He leads just fine but still cowers in the corner when you enter his stall, but is completely well behaved and goes with you readily when you touch his halter. Even as his feet are in a terrible shape- he has a real pretty trot and might find himself behind a cart some day.
Here are a few pictures of Dan taken yesturday- you will have to excuse how dirty he is- he still thinks all the cleaning products in the world are for the birds and will promptly roll and get himself all dirty again :lol:
