update on Mom and my brother in law

The doctors said that the results of the latest CT scan on Mom show that the bleeding has lessened. It still has not sealed off but it has lessened. The pneumonia is worse though. They are working hard to get it under control and hopefully she will be doing better soon. She is extremely confused which is partly from the bleed and partly from infection.

Lee, my brother in law, is to have surgery Monday to remove a blockage from his carotid artery.

So, we still need lots of prayers and good thoughts that they both will recover and that we continue to have the strength to get through this.

On the other side of the family, my father in law is also not doing well and my hubby will be flying out Monday to see about him.

This has to be the toughest 2 months that we have ever faced. We will get through it but it sure is hard.

I'm glad Lee is going to have surgery. Why are they waiting so long though?
