Little Miss Riley and Blakey are now 10 months old and very happy babies.
Riley is doing great!! She only sees the cardiologist every 3 months and that in itself is a major victory. All of the repairs to her heart are holding, at a year old she will then go to every 6 month visits. She is pulling herself up, walking around furniture and will even take a few steps to get to something she really wants. She now has 10 teeth and screams just to hear herself. She says a few words, hi, and calls her mom, no.
We could use your prayers again for little Blake. His condition is getting worse. He now sees the cardiologist once a week. On Friday they will be doing a mapping of his heart so they know all that needs to be repaired during his surgery sometimes late January. His heart is weaker as it is just tired from running on only 3 chambers. The hole in his heart is larger and causing a problem because of the location to the shunt they put in 9 months ago to help him get more oxygen. He will then have a lesser procedure to help him, get him ready for the big surgery, sometime in the next 2 weeks. But he is happy, and loves to spend time next to his sister, although she doesn't stay put for very long.
Big brother Aiden had tubes put in his ears last Friday and is doing good.
I hear my daughter talk of all the doctor appointments, runs to get medicines, and care for the 3 of them and she just never complains. All I ever think is how very proud I am of her and what I did to deserve such a wonderful daughter, and 3 of the best grandchildren in the world.
We are very thankful, and hopeful and would appreciate your prayers. They worked great for Riley, and I know they will do the same for Blake.
I will be going out for their first birthday, or Blakes big surgery, which ever comes first. I promise tons of pictures, and will update more as I know.
Thank you to all for letting me release some, and for thinking of our special babies.
