Hey everyone, I wanted to thank you for your thoughts and prayers while I was in the hospital.

: Thankfully I did not ever go into labor and my cervix didnt change too much so I was sent back home on bed rest as usual. They did manage to give me the four shots to help speed the babys' lung development up. They also had me on some stuff call magnesium sulfate from Sunday night to Wednesday morning to make sure I didn't go into preterm labor. Originally what had happend was I woke up early Sunday morning and my leg was soaked, not sure if it was discharge or what, so went to the hospital to get checked. Thankfully my water hadnt broke but I did have a postive Fetal Fibronectin test so the doc wanted to keep me overnight for observation. I had contractions throughtout the day though I didnt feel them. Thats what made the docs decided to do the steroid shots for the baby and keep me longer. I survived the nasty magnesium stuff, which to say was hard, and got all 4 of the steroid shots with no problems. Wednesday morning they stopped the Magnesium and watched me till Thursday. I got out yesterday morning and have been resting, though i have browsed hte forum a bit, just didnt feel up to posting yet. She is still hanging in there and with any luck will continue to. I feel a lot better now though then when I got out of the hospital so thats good, was finally able to get some good sleep and not feel icky. Anyways enough of me blabbering.

Oh, yeah, that Magnesium is NOT FUN, glad you are done w/it for now and I hope you get a couple more weeks w/out anymore scares so baby can mature safely before birth.

So sorry about the bed rest, it is HARD but so worth it. My best wishes to you and thanks for the update!

I'm so glad! I was worried about you and waiting to hear. Please take it very easy. Thank you for letting us know!

I was on bed rest for two months with KAtie, who by the way ended up on bed rest for two months with Robby!.... I know how hard it is to stay in bed expecially when you dont feel too awful. Jason was 16 months old and I had 4 dogs that belonged to other people that I was showing and they all had to go home. My mom took Jason and our poodle..... I was bored stiff! From Sept1 to Nov 4th when she was finally born. Was 25 years ago and I remember it like yesterday!. Get some good sleep so you and that little girl get back on track!
