Wednesday prayer folks....

My Dad called an ambulance for himself last night. He has had "indigestion" for a few weeks now. He said if he exerts, it causes a sharp pain in his side. Hubby being a paramedic knows what this leads to, Grandpa has been there, done that. Dad is a very stout, devout Christian. My whole family believes strongly in the power of prayer.

Can ya'll add my Dad to your list please? He and I are very close and I can't even think about loosing him. He won't slow down, no one can do it right.....(I have no idea where I get my stubborn, independent streak) but he knows he is going to have to change some things now. He is still at the hospital having more tests run. He is hoping he gets to go home tonight but it is all going to depend on how the tests come out.

Thanks you guys! It means a lot to have the extra prayers. I've been talking to him off and on all day. He lives 250 miles away. Three of my brothers are there now and one of my nephews. I will be heading down first thing in the morning. Had to find coverage for the home front!

He has passed all but one of their tests. When they had him do the stress test, he had the same pain and discomfort. The did the dye test and have found some blockage. So, he spends the night in the hospital tonight and they will put in a stint tomorrow at 1 pm. Keep us in your thoughts (I know you will).
