Let me start off by saying I'm not a big fan of snow. It's pretty to look at but.......
When I woke up this morning it was snowing. One of those really wet, big, floating, flake kind of snows that cling to everything. It looked like a winter wonderland from every window. The trees, bushes, fences were all snow covered.
The minis were running and playing; the dogs were having a blast and I've been loving it.
Went out to feed and Bambi came in his stall to eat and I had to look at the end of his tail about 3 times before it dawned on me that he was dragging about a 6" to 8" snowball on the end of his tail. :new_shocked: (Now remember, I've lived in Florida for the past 17 years.)
Sunny, the lil Shih Tzu, was outside running and playing like it was the most wonderful thing he'd ever seen. After being out for 45 minutes or so he scratched on the door to come in and he was walking all spraddle-legged (didn't know a dog could walk that way) cause he was wearing snow "chaps". There was no simple drying him off; had to take him to the bath tub to get rid of the snowballs he was carrying around on his legs. One of them had to have been at least 2".
To top all that off, got 2 calls from friends in Florida who just called to let me know they were thinking of me.
Life just doesn't get much better than that!!
I hope you all have as good a day as mine has been so far!!
:
PS - As I was finishing this my sister called me too. WHAT A DAY!!!!
