Tonight I made some lasagna.

I have to make it a bit different ... brown some ground meat.. put in lots of flavorful herbs, add no salt Tomato sauce. While that is warming.. I grate some lower salt hard sheeps cheese.. oh this stuff is good! Get the Lasagna sheets and start building the creation. Simple but tastey!!!

Will be adding Green beans on the side and a slice of homemade bread.

So what savory dinner are you making tonight?

Lazy meal. Costco rotisserie chicken, rice, veggies, garlic bread. No time to cook after picking up my son from soccer. Will make a strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry and vanilla soy milk smoothie for us later in the evening.

now this may sound gross...but I'm about to eat it in a few minutes...

french fry casserole:

baked fries (frozen kind)

topped with chopped green peppers, onion, jalepenos, bacon bits, and lots of shredded cheese...put back in the oven to heat and melt the cheese...top with sour cream..

Very healthy...look at all those veggies!

We just had roast beef, mashed potatoes, corn and Italian bread. We also had birthday cake as yesterday was my husband's b-day.

Nate and I seldom eat the same supper, he works hard and needs his meat, I don't like meat to well. He had pork hocks (sizzling all day in the pot) sauerkraut and potatoes. I had a yogurt and a veggie pattie from Morning Star brand, no bread though. It works for us.

Manwhich sloppy joes. I was busy today and that was a simple yet hardy and warm meal.

wow..you all ate better than me...did I mention I had veggies on my fries...green peppers, onions, green peppers, onions, onions. I did have some barley with my meal as well...that's healthy isn't it?

Oh I just finished the dishes, I swear people know when I am sitting down to eat.

Does not matter if it is 6,7, or 8 oclock the phone rings and mine get cold.

Oh well,

We had shake in bake pork chops, and macaroni with cheese added a can of diced tomatoes.

it is good...believe me. and my sweet pickles with a nice big cup of milk...and blueberry pie...

Now I am stuffed....

I made Jimmy Dean Spaghetti and baked squash.

Jimmy Dean Spaghetti

Brown a pound of some kind of breakfast sausage, drain excess fat

add onions and some garlic and cook until translucent

While you're doing that, cook a package of spaghetti

On the side mix about a cup of milk, 4 eggs, at least 1/2 a cup of grated parmesan, salt and pepper

When the sausage/onion mixture and pasta are done...drain the pasta and add it to the sausage mixture (or vice versa, whichever has the bigger pot to mix in). Turn OFF the heat. Add the egg/milk/parmesan mixture and stir until it's not liquid any more. It makes it kind of creamy and holds everything together somewhat. Turn the heat back on if you think it's too runny, but the ambient heat should gently cook it enough - you don't want to scramble it. That's it. It's good!

Weather is beautiful this time of year, so I'm about to put some salmon steaks on the BBQ and make a big ceasar salad.
