My friend was just telling me yesterday that he has had alot of people coming to his door(in town) and leaving political papers. He goes to the door and tells them NOT nicely that they are interupting his dinner with his family and How dare they come on his property?

He also had someone leave political doormail, he went to the door, the person had walked away and yelled at the guy to come get this trash that he left on his door and property, the guy came back and took it with him, probably scared of what this guy would do to him! This friend is 6'4 230 pounds..

He is a nice guy but there are certain things he will NOT stand for! he also goes off on the ones who call during dinner!

Put a "no solicitators" sign near the front door - otherwise throw them in the trash.

SO FAR-we haven't had any doorknockers and since we use only cell phones, only 1 poll and that was several weeks ago. We have a 1200' private drive AND 3 dogs~LOL Nobody who doesn't have serious business with us knocks on our door!

No one is dumb enough to come up here and leave any thing on some ones door, well unless it is the Postal folks.People around here do not take kindly to that. However we have gotten tons of them in the mail. They go in the burn pile like other the other junk mail......what'a waste of trees.

no trespassing signs and tell then your tresspassing and kick then off . i know atleast here if you have these sighs up not even animal control cant come on with out it being considered tresspassing unless you give them the ok

about the phone calls we dont even answer unless we feel like it and know who it is . thats what the machine is for

I guess it all depends on how easily you allow your buttons to be pushed. ;)
