This orange box has been around for ages, but WHAT is it?

What's it for??? How do you use it???

My Internet Explorer has a button that matches it as well, but what it's for, I have no clue!

I'm probably the only one who uses the internet and doesn't know

At least I'm not the only one who doesn't know... I'd wondered a long time but had been too lazy to get a picture of it so I could show everyone what orange thingy I was referring to

Maybe someone here will know what it is and what it does

I have one on my computer too , when I click on it it says -

You are viewing a feed that contains frequently updated content. When you subscribe to a feed, it is added to the Common Feed List. Updated information from the feed is automatically downloaded to your computer and can be viewed in Internet Explorer and other programs

Thanks, ladies! I'm not sure how the subscription aspect works but at least now I have a general idea of what the orange thing is about

Shoot, not only didn't Iknow what it does, I didn't even know it was there. I looked up and waaalaaa, there it was. Wish I'd read this this morning cause I had a computer tech here this morning and coulda asked him.

Please tell me I'm not the only one, I went to the link, Disney Horse posted and wow, that was way over my head. I have no clue as to what I was reading. I guess that is what happens when a senior citizen plays on the computer without any computer education. In my little world I don't need that icon as I've never used it before, so I guess it doesn't matter if I understand or not.
