This week is going to go to crap I just can feel it in advance. Friday (today) I'll be over my head in stupid paperwork at our store. I let it pilr up until it gets so out of hand until I can't even find my desk under it all. Shame on me. :arg!

Saturday I have to be in the warehouse doing manual labor like a dog. Boards, power tools, like a power saw and nail gun will be involved and I'm not usually even allowed to use anything resembling a power tool because I have a bad track record of too many wrecks, but I have to get a big project worked on. I'd put 911 on speed dial if I knew how.

If there is anything left of me on Sunday, my wash rack will be explosding with horses left and right and tons of bubbles, conditioners, and of course scrunchies will be involved.

I hope we get some gas for the grill so we can throw some hot dogs and burgers on too.

Hoping to get some good work in for my horses this weekend. Rain the last two days so they haven't gotten to the round pen. Saturday a friend and I are going to Kris Vegter's (Lightning Ridge) to see babies and take pictures. Sunday have to do some paperwork, but also hope to spend time working horses and bathing everyone. Tack room needs to be cleaned out too!!! All in all, hopefully mostly a horsey weekend.

Have a great weekend everyone!!!!

Saturday--After I finsih cleaning stalls and feeding everyone, I have to head over to the store, for a few hours, to clean and get things ready to open it. We usually dont open till the 2nd week of August, but it seems like everything is early this year. I wont start to decorate the store for fall until Sept. 1 Then I'm hoping that Bob gets time to work on the pond he is putting in, he wants to put a waterfall behind it..I'm content with just the fountain, so I will help him with that unless they are going ot make hay. I have about 20 pots of perennials that need to get in the ground too. Not sure what we will be doing on Sunday, but I will probably do some trimming on the poodles (faces need it again) get the grill going and whatever else needs to be done. Will need to clean the pastures and run in this weekend too, and if time..a few baths for the mini kids.

Friday is a horse and work day, then off to Help out at the BC Heritage Finals on saturday!

On sunday they have some driving classes so my grey gelding and I will head out for those.

Tonight my sister and my niece are coming over to visit and see mu new mini.

As little as possible, I sprained my wrist last Friday hauling/stacking hay, so trying to take it easy. [Two people has asked if I'm sure I didn't break it, while I haven't seen a doctor, I'm still pretty sure I didn't break it.]

So, today was farrier day, and as my wrist is sore, I had 8 for him to do (I do some and he does some, and they all get rotated through, so the farrier gets everyone once or twice a year, and those with issues see him everytime). Tomorrow, I might be going to a farm/ranch auction just to look and for something to do; if I feel like getting up early enough to get there on time. Otherwise, just what has to be done to get through the day.

Rode the Moose-man this morning (uggg...there has GOT to be an easier way to get in shape

)

It's very humid here, so I won't be doing too much outside this weekend....actually hitting the pool is a good possibility (haven't gotten in it yet this year).

Quick stop to a dog show tomorrow to see a vendor, then shopping for my sister's birthday, then bonfire tomorrow night.

Sunday will probably be doing much of the usual....

Hope everyone has a great weekend

Off to my 5th of 10 horse show weekends in a row! Last weekend (and half the week) was the Calgary Stampede show, so I am very much looking forward to the quieter, less stressful, pleasure driving show put on by my driving club!
