We're in for another blast of snow. I can't believe it. It was 60 degrees on Thursday and here comes the dropping temps yet again tonite with snow and sleet. There goes the roads too. Feel my joy. This time I'm not really happy about it. Weekends is the only time that Jerry can work on the barn and we are trying to put up the tack room walls and get another foaling stall ready for Angel. But nooooooo cause it's gonna stupid snow again and Jerry is not into freezing. So now that is getting put off yet again. OH darn it.

Been down with the flu all week, nasty thing that flu is. :smileypuke:

I sent the boys to town today to pick me up some RX at the drug store that Doc called in for me and to stock up on junk food cause no telling who is going to end up snowed in here this weekend.

The boys returnedfrom town with a nice surprise for me..........they went to the car wash with my truck and got it all nice and shinny and cleaned inside! OOH big smooch! I can't stand when my truck is dirty. Bad enough I got dents. boo hoo

I'm writting my books so I have plenty to keep me busy inside. I can't believe my publisher now wants a hard copy so I have to go print a whole book out now and oh, let's not forget Saturday Sci-Fi scarry movies too. Will be nice to hunker down on the couch in my sleeper pants and afgan with Tracey sipping a nice hot cup of herbal tea.

I am missing a horse show this weekend that my gelding would have been driving at for the first time

: . I am missing it for my nephew's baptism, which is more important than the horse show, but I so wish it had been last Sunday or next. My pastor is leaving after next Sunday and this Sunday was the only day he could do it. Oh Well, there's always next month.

SATURDAY: Going to look at a draft horse (Clydesdale) with dad that dads obsessed with, he might trade his two QH's to it. He wants to a draft, i guess i wouldnt mind have one around agian. Then im planning on grooming everyone, cleaning off hooves and lower legs since they have been in mud since our pasture is pretty much a swamp still. I also want to braid everyones tails & Mains.

SUNDAY: Horse Judging Practice at 7AM for FFA :bgrin. Then im going to start my horse judging binder and get it together for this year agian. So i will have to get to the library so i can get everything i need printed off. I also need to get some Money orders so i can get all this paperwork sent in.

MONDAY: *NO SCHOOL*. I'm sleeping in and then just hanging around the barn. Probaly planning the remodely thats going to happen, lol agian, in April sometime.

Also im looking for stalls on the net, might check TSC.

Staying inside and warm this weekend! All of January it was mild with highs frequently in the 60's and 70's. Now that it's mid Feb, we are having an ice and snow storm weekend. It's in the 20's now and has been sleeting for the last 3 hours. I went to the store and stocked up and I'm not going anywhere this weekend!

Got a nice fire going in the wood stove and will keep it going the next few days. Misty will likely foal within the next few days, so I am keeping a close watch on her. Why did she pick the nastiest, coldest weather?? She's tucked into her stall, lots of bedding and the overhead heat on low. If she goes into labor, I'll likely be slipping and sliding to the barn!

Lets see... Work... Work... and researching work... I love my job so I dont mind, plus its a bank holiday on Monday (Presidents Day) so will catch up at work anyways since I will be heading up to the AMHA Convention on Wednesday(so will be preparing for that too & look forward to seeing everyone attending!).
