Mostly just basic floats, but two had issues.

My little stallion has been on mushy food for quite some time to keep him eating. We've been trying to figure out his problem for awhile, and finally got it done today; he had a really bad ramp and another tooth had a slab fracture, which probably caused his abcess last fall. We got both taken care of, so hopefully now he can heal up and get back on a normal diet.

and, my new stallion needed a basic float and had his wolf teeth removed, they were poking out sideways and probably irritating his cheeks, so he should be feeling better now.

Oh, and while she was here, she also helped me hand breed a mare with the little stallion that has trouble reaching due to height differences. So, we really got a lot accomplished today.

Its amazing how many things can be attributed to bad teeth or a sore mouth. Long story short, my 52 year old husband lost his job of 28 years in Jan and spent two weeks in Idaho out at equine dentistry school. Learned alot and we have more than one horse who was so happy after they got their teeth done.........

I had no idea but it sure makes sense.

Good luck to your husband with his new career.

These little guys sure need more help in the teeth department than the big guys do. Now that my saddle horses are past baby teeth and before old age teeth, we haven't had to do them in a couple years; but the little guys need at least a basic float every year. But, that's what happens when you cram big teeth into those little mouths. [and, my little stallion has the tiniest little face and mouth, so really interesting to get work done in there.]
