Which Famous Stallions Best Represent their Color

[SIZE=12pt]I have a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and teach art at our local elementary school. I have a new project idea and need some opinions. I’m looking for famous miniature stallions that are the best example or representation of their color. For example I believe that Boones Little Buckeroo is the best stallion to represent the color buckskin. I would rather not get into my opinions for each color, but instead I want to hear your ideas. I need a stallion for each solid color and color patterns like overo, tobiano, appaloosa......the list goes on and on. I thought it would be fun to get some input and discussion. I'll let everyone in on my project when its complete. [/SIZE]

I don't know if he's the BEST or not......but I think Apache (Kickapoo's Apache Moon) is a very good representative for the Frame Overo pattern.

I like Bob - Buck on Broadway for black.

Boogerman for sorrel/chestnut.

I think it's Alliance Piano Man for app. He's on the appy stallion auction, and he's awesome. And I'm not really impressed with apps, but he's gorgeous.

Little Blue Boy for gray.

I can't think of his name, but the LTD frame overo.

Insofar as appaloosa's, Catch and Piano Man are nice examples of LEOPARD appaloosa patterns. IMHO Sonoita Highlands Darth Vader is the best example of a classic blanketed appaloosa.

Well, I think Destiny is a great representation of his color, smokey silver black, and you do not see horses of his color all that often

They're not famous, but I love them anyway!

Not all may be "famous", but they are excellent examples of their colors/patterns:

For Leopard appaloosa, definitely Lost Spoke's Catch or Sweetwaters Texas Spotty or Canterbury's Mountain High Tiger Too

For Near Leopard appaloosa, I'd say Piano Man (though they call him a leopard, to me Catch and Spotty are leopard (white with spots all over), while Piano Man is near leopard since he has the solid head and more solid color than what I consider a full leopard)

For Spotted Blanket appaloosa, Alliance Sign On The Dotted Line , simply stunning! Or Cherokee Rose's Jandts Chief Show Tom A Hawk, liver chestnut

For Solid Blanketed appaloosa, Critter Creek's new boy Alliance Redi's Applauze, *drool*
