What a beautiful baby. I wish I could have a llama, but hubby's allergic (of all things, llamas!). He has to take benadryl if he gets within 10 feet of a llama.

I wouldn't mind seeing more of the fuzzy pretties, though. Sharon, where's your Harley?

What wormer is most effective for the worm??? We only use Ivermectin on our llamas. But is that enough? (You have me worried now.)

Oh....Oh.....I'm a new LLAMA MAMA!

Here is our new cria...Patsy. She has not clue that she's a llama and is sooo affectionate to anyone who comes to visit "her" in the pasture.

Here's Patsy taking her place on the grain bucket fenceline. She likes beet pulp too!

My info given me by the lady I bought my llamas from states the worm is only in the upper Great Lakes Region. Theirs alot to it, if I were you, I'd just write in my search engine, Meningeal Worm and you'd learn alot. It affects there brain but I don't know alot about it. It comes from deer and snails, etc.

I have 3 Llamas, one male and two females, One female is VERY sweet, I think if you raise them from babies, and they know to trust you, then the issues with them are minimal. I have had Llamas that had never had loving contact, and it takes a while to build trust. I LOVE them, They are very neat, loving & protective!!!

I have a llama too. He looks like MAIZEY. His name is Rocky as in "Rocky Road Ice Cream". He is a baby doll but also a gelding. Rocky loves the horses and has started making sure they are in their stall before he will go in his at night. One of these days I will have to figure out how to post pictures.
