Who is following the Kyron Horman case

I can't understand how anyone can hurt a child. Just the fact that they have taken this sweet boy away from his father and mother would cause him pain. At this point I have lost all hope that they will find him alive or unharmed. The people in our area are distraught over this case and it is on everyones mind most of the time. How does a young boy just disappear from a school and no one sees anything? His home is just a few miles from mine and people are taking time to search for him on their own. Just hiking around hoping to find some trace of this little boy.

The fact that his Father has moved out of the family home, taken his little sister with him and now filed for divorce and a restraining order with just cause leads to the belief that his Step Mother is involved. I will never understand how a woman could raise a child for 7 yrs and one decide do something as heinous as this. Everyone I speak to is praying this young man is brought home unharmed or at least found so his parents can get some closure along with the community he lives in. My heart breaks for what his family is going thru and how hard it has to be for the father to know it is possible that is wife committed this crime.

Please everyone pray he is found safe and unharmed. Keep him in your thoughts today and for the days to come.

I drive down Cornelius Pass when I come to the barn and right after Kyron went missing, there were Search and Rescue people and dogs all over the area...Kind of eerie seeing that...and when you look around, that whole area is so overgrown that he could be anywhere and not be found for a long time! Of course you have to hold out hope (look at the Elizabeth Smart and Kasey {last name escapes me right now} cases), but....my gut tells me differently.

I too have been following it from here in MO. It's beyond belief who things like this happen. I pray he will be found unharmed, but it's hard to believe that is possible. Sometimes humans are the lowest form of life.

Its really sad. Some people just shouldn't be around children.

Remember the mother that threw her kids off a bridge not to long ago and only one lived.

If they can't handle things, it is better for the children if they tell someone, get help and or give the children up.

This is just horrible... I've been following it a little bit. I hope they find him and whoever did whatever they did to him pays for their actions.

Yes it is so sick. Child AND elder abuse. What makes someone wake up one day and think that anything like this is okay??? I don't get it. And this sounds sexist, but especially a woman who she be a mother, not a murder. If she really did do it.

There is an even worse one here in Washington over the weekend.A man cut his 5 years old step daughters throat to show the Mom he had authority over them. OMG. Unreal.

I have been following this case it is very sad and really reminds me a lot the Robert Manuel case we had here in Boise last summer - I truly hope this case has a very different outcome.

I have also been following this case and I am praying immensely that he is found safe, but it isn't looking very hopeful at this point.

I will never be able to wrap my brain around any form of child abuse, neglect or anything that results in the intentional harming of a helpless child. There is just WAY too much of this going on in the world................

I hadn't heard anything about this case so don't know the details, but sounds something like the case of the little Ontario girl last year. In that case, though, they had a security video of Tori leaving school with an unknown female. Sadly that story did not end well; the little girl was killed almost immediately after she was taken.

There have been a few cases like this--way too many of them.

I always hope that when a relative is involved in the abduction that the child will be kept safe--but that's not always the case.

I will hope they find this child soon and that this will be one story with a happy ending. We have to hope.

The deal with the step father leaving is not that unusual because many families in crisis resort to breaking up under pressure like that.

What I don't get though is that the last interview I saw with the family.......the fathers were acting like I would expect them to be, a compete wreck. But the mother did not appear as I had expected. I know in my tragedy I was heavily sedated forever, my eyes were black and swollen for months,sometimes swollen shut, but this mother's appearence was very presentable for what she is facing and she spoke so calmy and matter of factly I thought, this woman is made of steel. Don't see how she could get through an interview like that without crashing. Not saying she was involved one bit, but goodness, she's got it together incredibly very well.

Its now been a month and they still believe he is alive. There is just something very strange about all of this. I pray he is still alive and unharmed. How truly sad that his family is being put throught this horrible turmoil and how awful not knowing where or how he is. I just hope they solve this very soon and bring this boy home.

Oh my how awful. I haven't heard about this. I sure do hope that they find this poor little boy. Safe, alive and healthy. I really dont know whats wrong with some people. I dont see how any one could hurt a poor child who is defenseless (sp).

I am praying for the family and friends of this little boy. This is so so sad.

I think he's alive too. Just saw his mother back on camera and now she looks "normal" to me and as distraught as anyone can imagine. Sure wish that schools had cameras in the hallways and parking lots. The way he just disappeared in thin air is amazing.

I can't imagine any kid would want to leave their Science Fair so I feel someone he may have known asked him to go help with something so off he went. Little kids always like to be helpers. I think someone might have him in their home.

The wicked stepmother did it. If she has no hesitation hiring a hit man to kill the dad...why would an innocent child get in her way !
