As most of you know, our son, David, has Asbergers Syndrome (high functioning autism). At 11 years old, living in a tiny farm community, he still believes Santa's gonna make his way to the Dun Painted Ranch!

Okay, David has chosen the following "treats" for his guests:

SANTA GETS.........CHILI (David makes himself)

REINDEER GET.......WARM, SOUPY BEET PULP

MMMMMMMMM tell David I love chili and I'll bet Santa does too seeing as he travels so long and cold in many places. Great treat David!

I think you have a very thoughtful young man there.

I think his treats for his friends. Santa and his reindeer would make a great snack.

I like David's ideas for snacks for Santa AND the reindeer!! Mmmmm chili would be good right about now...lucky Santa!

Aww that is very cute... chili sounds like a good choice.

Raven is eagerly awaiting Santa as well and has opted for cup of noodles soup for him and grass pellets for the reindeer

AHHH, GREAT IDEA RAVEN!

Sounds like a youngin with a thoughtful heart and animal sense. Between our children, Santa and his reindeer will be warm, full of energy!

Asked David if we should leave Santa a glass of wine (kidding). He said, "Mom, he might crash and we'll get sued". (We watched a Dateline special on the subject of teen drinking/driving when an adult-supervised party turned deadly!) It's amazing what kids learn from "boring" TV shows.

Merry Christmas.....may your morning be fun, Lisa!

Hee hee cant have santa making you get sued now can we... although might make sure you are set with presents for the next few years (guilt can be a wonderful thing

Hope you have a wonderful holiday and can sleep till at least 6 am

My girls just left Santa popcorn and milk!

Of course, my daughter was very concerned that their be 8 carrots for the reindeers.

They were asleep immediately!

They are 6 and 4 and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!

Tell David that the reindeer really do love beet pulp, at least the ones we take care of for santa do.

That is so sweet! Chili!!!!

Bri made chocolate milk for Santa just a little bit ago and it's sitting in the fridge.

She's never worried about leaving anything for the reindeer for some reason.

HMMMM! Sounds to me like Santa gets a nice variety of things - no wonder that jolly old soul is so happy and plump!

David, I think chili is a good idea and those reindeer will really "cruise" once they get some beet pulp!

Hope you are having a wonderful and blessed Christmas!!

Cindy, Tell David that we hope he gets everything that his little heart wants for Christmas. Little kids are so fun at Christmas time.

And we hope Santa enjoys the chile too.
