i really wanted a filly.. lacey had 2 solid colts with her previous owners.... last year she had a pinto colt and now my pinto filly!! OMG im in love!! her barn name came to me while feeding our bottle goat... we will call her Tia hoping to use this as her registered name ' SP Totally TIckled...

we finally have a foal!!! lacey was 339 days.. and BOOM i got a day time foaling!! 1:30ish pm.. we got a BEAUTIFUL filly!! here are wet pics.. will post more in a bit of her dry!

i voted never ... i had to give it to one mare last year and she was the first she was super crampy and throwing her self down more so than my other mares had been ever. other than that she is the only mare i have given it too. never had any mares that really showed signs of needing it

so i had a great supplier for my rasps, only to find out that when i went to have him ship me some, the place he got them from n longer makes them. i am having a heck of a time finding many 10 inch rasps... for the price i got them for. im worried about spending 30-40 dollars for one rasp if...

i had 4 mares foal last year. all 4 i had never foaled out.... Lacey- previous owner said she never waxed but bagged heavily for me she had a HUGE bag, and not only waxed but STREAMED milk for 12 hours before foaling. she is due again this year (2/20) very curious to see if she does it again...

wow i didnt realize so many stalled at nite. now i kinda feel like im neglecting my minis! lol we only stall when a mare is close, or if we have someone hurt i have everyone divided into their own groups the 2 stallions have thier own runs and sheds the brood mares are together yearlings...

mare stare is awesome! if your on there, go into chat, and let them know the times u most need watching. i am a SAHM i can watch all day every day mostly. im also a Insomniac LOL im usually up till 3 am most mornings my mare lacey (due 2/20) is on cam now on marestare!

my wunnerful DH got me a Nook for christmas !! its the one with 3G internet and wi-fi! i am so excited, im such a book worm tho! lol sooo what did you all get?

my hubby got me a nook.. the one with 3g and wifi :P hubby got a duffle bag with new clothes and a bunch of other stuff for when he is on the road driving ( he made it home this year !! YAY!) the girls got zuzu pets, a train, a little stuffed horse that they can sit on, lots of clothes, lol...
