What kind of cart is this?

Would it be okay for local shows and maybe ADTs? I'm worried about back support, or the lack thereof.

Well, crud. We're not on ag water, but I'll be keeping an ear open.

    A QUESTION FOR THOSE

A note on the flax seed-grind it first! The outer shell is apparently hard to digest, so they get the most benefit out of freshly ground flax seed. I used a little electric coffee grinder to take care of mine. Also, grind it fresh daily or grind a bunch and keep it refrigerated for around a...

    Help me 'price' this Mini

I feel bad for the lot of them-critters and owner. She obviously loves them, but...

Is it okay to ask for an apprasial?

Short version: Farrier called me, a one time client lost their job and will be moving and needs to sell. Has three mini donkeys. What is a reasonable price for them? She wasn't sure what to ask and we may want to make an offer on one or both jennies (my mom's wanted a Mini Donkey for a loooooong...

    Help me 'price' this Mini

Short story: Farrier told me about someone who lost their job, is moving soon, and needs to sell these guys. I went out and looked. She has two Minis for sale-the other one is in rough shape, but this guy looked okay. What is a 'fair' price for him, in your opinion? He is 'kinda' halter broke...

    ACER brand computers

My nerd does his own laundry, and cooks dinner, and gives the horses scritches.... For the price I got mine built I could have gotten a Dell, but it only would have been half as 'good' in terms of performance, and I'd get to deal with their tech support. I have an awesome system and if...

    ACER brand computers

My brother and I both bought Acer laptops a few years ago. I finally got a settlement on mine from a lemon law case, and my brother finally got the money together to replace his. If you want the most bang for your buck, IMO, find (or date!) a nerd and get them to build you a computer. I...

    Anyone watch the View today

Because 'teacup' is not a classification in any breed. Teacup is a marketing tool. People breed small dogs even smaller-usually to the detriment of their health-and then sell runty puppies to people who don't know any better for the same amount of money-if not more-that you'd spend finding a...

    Vet Tech's - Have a few questions

Also, a tip from one of my vet tech friends: look into what techs and RVTs make in your area, and make sure it's something you can afford to live on.

    Anyone watch the View today

I hate the whole toy/mini/teacup/oodle/doodle thing. I'm not sure this is the only route one can take, but their Foundation Stock Service program has some good information: http://www.akc.org/reg/fss_details.cfm Bolding mine, of course.

Someone at the Post Office is probably having a GREAT time with MY pen!!

As an aside, if you hate the USPS, you DO have other options.

    Miniature Therapy Horse Program

    I would be interested, too!

What would you call his color?

Aren't chestnut and black also possibilities?

Someone at the Post Office is probably having a GREAT time with MY pen!!

Just pointing out it's unlikely that anyone at the post office stole your pen. What's more likely is because your friend put a hard object like a pen inside an envelope, it probably tore it's way out during processing.

What kind of cart is this?

I'm having her get some measurements for me before I go down to see it-Shaft length, total length (gotta make sure it fits in the van) and wheel height. Any other measurements I should ask for? I'll take a tape measure and double check, and I'll be sure to check the balance on it, too.

What kind of cart is this?

I was thinking it looked a little rough, but as long as it's sound it can always be spiffed up. I thought it would look great with some wooden wheels, too. She's letting the cart and harness (harness is just an e-bay cheapie but should be okay to toodle around in for a little bit) pretty cheap...

What kind of cart is this?

I might be going to have a look at it! Not the best pics, but does it look any good? Do you think it would be alright for schooling/local shows and maybe an ADT?

    Alfalfa

I was soaking alf cubes for a while and got kind of tired of that. I just use some alfalfa hay and feed a little bit with our grass hay. Just picked up some nice, fine bermuda today,

    Email regarding McDonalds beef

Oi, Tag, I had a friend in highschool who was the same way. She got an e-mail after 9-11 stating the terrorists were going to poison Pepsi products and begged me not to drink them...I had a bit of fun getting one out of the school's vending machine for the rest of the week and drinking it in...
