I have a question for you authorities on the appaloosa color on foals.....I am familiar with how appys change...but these are my first foals vs adults. I have searched other sites but most have their babies already clipped to show color..others seem to be born as loud as can be with bright vivid...

FILLY!!!!!!!!! The mare I was so concerned about...I had posted her awhile back asking if she had dropped...she is 29.5 my smallest girl so I was a bit nervous....checked her at dinnertime and got a big wad of wax and sticky fluid so I knew she was going tonight...about 9 she started...

I was watching 3 ... two foaled..both of which were due in April...so I, too, am watching the original mare who was due yesterday...she now has a hard tight udder, waxed and sticky...sooooo...maybe tonight.....zzzzzz.....I do have them on camera. This is my smallest mare 29.5 and I don't know...

was just wondering..when do you collect....after the new foal has nursed? I cannot believe I have let 3 mares foal without collecting any...shame on me

what a beautiful foal!!!! I went thru almost the same exact thing this morning ..cept my bubble was deep red....how weird is that....I was like you..did not really 'think' just reacted..good for you!!!!!! It is an awesome feeling to get them out and have them healthy....I love this place!!!
