    Thoughts on this situation...

Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where he cashes the checks from his "nana" that he had stashed and then her account was overdrawn. Sorry Linda just couldn't resist . I would call her and then plan on a visit. Depending on where she is maybe rekindle the friendship with a visit each month...

Oh man!! I'm fuming mad!!! Insulted!!! Disgusted!!!

That is horrible that they chased you down in the parking lot. I would definately write a letter to the corporate office and ask what their polices are about chasing someone down in a parking lot. I would think that is not their property? We have a Kmart here and they allow panhandlers in the...

    Woo Hoo!

I had purchased the Rons Harness a few years ago and sent it back as soon as I got it. JMO - it was way too heavy in looks and weight (saddle is really heavy) for a mini and my liking. The leather is very heavy weight for a mini and stiff. I think it is a nice harness for a pony/horse. I know...

It is the initial cost of the horse that is the cheapest! Thanks for the link, it is way cheaper to have a horse than paying a shrink!

    Close that mouth!!!!

You have some excellent driving trainers in the area if you are willing to drive. If you want a trainer with "mini" experience Muffy Seaton comes to mind at Four Fleas Farm. As Karen (Jetki) mentioned there are a few driving clubs in the area that you should check out and may want to join. I...

    What was I thinking?

What Myrna said is true IMHO. All the things mentioned can be a factor. I would go back to ground driving to start and then hitch him up. He sounds like he is a litte "brat", (no offense mine is a MAJOR BRAT) my mini did the same thing when were started back driving. He had 4 months off after...

    Our New Driving Horse Jack

WOW - Awesome horse! I bet you will have alot of fun with him driving. My saddle fits like that on my horse too, he is (mine) on the plumper side though, doesn't bother him just the way it fits. I would move the breeching up a tad too. Overall looks great!

What Are Your Hobbies, Other Than Horses

Other than the horses, I enjoy making beaded jewelry and have ventured into wire jewelry. We also have a dirt Late Model race car so we go racing every week. Most spending time with my husband and son.

    Minis at Camelot

A friend adopted a horse from there last fall. She is a beautiful QH, mare was on the skinny side. Got her fatten up etc. and she is a dream horse! The seem like a great organization to adopt from. The stories that come through on the rescue sites are sad.

    Diaper cakes

That is very cute! I would price it as the cost you have in it. Plus a few bucks for your time I would think. I went to a baby shower where they put rattles, pacifiers, nose syringe, baby comb-brush,baby socks, little stuffed toys, maybe some mom pampering items -(foot soak, chocolate, shower...
