Roachback ... Standing Under himself... Maybe??

Having rescued a few underweight and malnourished minis I can say that a couple I had looked roachedback but when weight was added to them they did not look it. Same with toeing out sometimes they are so thin in the front end they look it but get some weight on the front and they look much better.

    Farmers/Breeders

I have bought two from Karen. One was a filly that she bred & is now owned by a friend and the other was a tiny mare named Merlot that was bred by a lady that no longer breeds. She is just about 28" and a Hoot!

Do NOT blanket ANY horses except for some circumstances

The barn door is always open here so have never blanketed except once when Fiesta (22 yrs old) was shivering last year when we had a cold snap and I did cover him in his stall and he stopped. The ole boy was looking at me like Hurry up! One other time when we had an ice storm and power was down...

Why are we blind to serious conformation faults?

I have reduced breeding the last several years due to the economy and to see how some of my foals are maturing. I reduced numbers due to health issues also and had serious thoughts of selling off but my minis they keep me sane. I think alot of folks breed because they feel entitled too since...

    Blister Bugs

There are I believe 6 types of Blister Beetles. I will not feed fresh cut Alfalfa to my horses only processed pellets or cubes. It is not worth the risk to lose a horse.

    WELCOME our Willow Roc colt-

I have to DNA the snot as we are not sure on Daddy- I think FIESTA and Hubby thinks Atlantis. He will be AMHR as Mama is but I think he would be a awesome gelding to show either way.

    WELCOME our Willow Roc colt-

This little guy was born Labor Day night to our Black & White mare. We had a colt year with this one being our prettiest. I had to clip his neck to get an idea on his color. High whites and a beautiful head. This pic shows him at 2 wks old.

Anyone tried the "Ahh Bra" or "Genie Bra"?

I ordered three of the AHH bra's when HSN had them onsale. Really not that great and overpriced. When you have limited movement in the shoulders and arms I felt like I was putting on a straightjacket and for the money get a sports bra at Walmart . There is an old saying "ya know yer gittin...

will i ever own a buckeroo son

I agree with Songcatcher. I think there will be a spike and then it will drop down again in price. As with any stallion not all of the offspring is breeding quality. Does anyone know if his sperm was froze for future foals and AI? I was curious about that also. He was a magnificent horse and did...
