    Thank You!

Now that everyone is back from the National and World shows, I just wanted to drop a line to say thank you to someone or "someone's". As we were getting ready to leave the Expo Center the last night of the AMHR National Show, Lenard caught up with Sharon and gave her a small box that had been...

Strong Objection To Rule Change Proposal

Syndi - Well said. Time is not really a factor, but the amount of money lost certainly would be. The way we run our classes at the local, Regional and National shows does not take that much time - and those that enter the performance classes pay their class fees just like all other entrants...

ok Mark B. have a question for you

Frankie - First of all thank you for your interest and for listening to me at the National Show. Glad you like the music and some of my attempts at humor. In answer to your questions. 1. Yes, Sharon and I retain ownership on 4 miniature horses. Three of them were actually sold on contract...

    CMHR arrived at WORLDS!

Just a question, why did CMHR just go to the World show and not AMHR National's as well? Mark

    World Show

Her name is Lisa Brostad and she is from Central Point, Oregon. A neat lady and really good with the horses, she does own miniatures herself and has competed before at Nationals/World's so she knows how it is. Mark Bullington

    I think there is something

All right you earthlings! It's not Red Bull - it's Rock Star that helps get the green blood moving in the morning! (Now talking in a high pitched voice) Or crap - Sharon wound the key up too tight...now it will be days until I'm back to a "normal" voice. In all seriousness, Leanna is quite...

    Back Home and (Mostly) Recovered

Sharon and I would like to thank all exhibitors, staff, and horses at Nationals for a fabulous show. You all did yourselves proud. It all begins with Lenard Davenport. If there is a better show manager anywhere I do not know who it is. There are other managers out there that are superb in...

    Chariot Class Rant

Keely - Anyone who flames you is nuts. Your points are all good and valid. I was also upset with the one exhibitor who chose to exit the arena at a hand gallop - weaving thru the other entrants. The judges took notice of that as well. Mark Bullington

    An amazing week!

Loved his Liberty go! And a fun name to announce, too! Congratulations! Mark Bullington

    2009 Nationals

Tagalong - I know what you mean with the writing. It can be challenging, to say the least. This was just an error that was found last evening - and we re-ran the class today to ensure proper placement. You can imagine what's it's like with over 1,500 horses and trying to get everything done...

    2009 Nationals

Announcer miscall? I think not!! Thankfully, this was NOT my error. When I do make a mistake, I own up to it - and I do make them occasionally. This was just something that unfortunately happened and was corrected. That's it. Period. Mark

    Rest in Peace Gabriel

MA and Larry - We are very sorry to hear of Gabriel's passing. He had a great heart and was a wonderful horse and an inspiration. He will be greatly missed. He will be awaiting you at the Rainbow Bridge - maybe he and Zander will meet each other for a chat. Mark & Sharon

    2009 Nationals

Lisa - you are right about that - yesterday began for us at 8:00 getting to the show and setting up for the day - and going until the show was done at 2:00 this morning - that is an 18 hour work day. But then you watch a class like is in the ring right now with this young man in it (solid color...

    2009 Nationals

Thanks you all for your kinds words and encouragement - that's about all I am going on this morning. I am REALLY tired. We finished the last Supreme class at 2:00 am and had to get up at 6 to get ready for todays show. But that's the life - and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I LOVE MY...

    2009 Nationals

As that announcer, thank you. It's nice to know that comes through. As I said during the presentation, the youth truly are the foundation of the future of our breed and organizations. The essays are written from those kids' hearts - and they really do get to me. I would do anything for these...

    Hey everybody

Russ - great reports. And horse people don't care you look at a horse show except when you are in the ring - you know that Had a little trouble with the sound system this morning, when the plants got watered they accidentially got some water on the mixer board - but we got that fixed thank...
