And WAY, WAY proud of my boy Phantom!!
. I can't thank Lee and his awesome crew enough for all their hard work, and I mean HARD work. Phantom ended up with a National Champion in youth, a Reserve Champion in Yearling Gelding, and a top 10 in Futurity. When he shows he just screams, look at me. The best part for me, I can tell how much he loves Lee, very important.
And, my name was announced as the owner. Small error.
Got to meet with Linda, Connie, Bonnie, and several others. Met a lot of very nice newer folks too.
The costume class was sooo fun and Mark helped with that a lot! As always Mark did an awesome job, I hope he has a 50 year contract with them.
The sportsmanship was wonderful to see. Always a line at the gate to congratulate the winners.
The quality of horses was spectacular!! I usually say, especially in the boys classes, but this year I have to say,,,especially with the mares.
My only complaint, though small, when there is a class of 20 or less, I don't know why they still insist on putting 5 in a line. I say go to more lines, less in a line. I do understand the 5 in a line with big classes. Plus, the bigger horses need more room. Heck, in one class I think Belinda was showing from the flowers in center ring!
Congratulations to all who attended such a wonderful show! Best of luck to those who have a class to come!
Thank you to Mark, Sharon, all of those in the office, who appear to have a ton of patience and to the Judges, thank you!
