anything to worry about? I have a 28" mare that is at 340 days this week. She has had a fat pad In front of her udder that has gotten larger, it isn't huge. Her udder is not full yet. I was just wondering if anyone has seen this in their mares and how common it might be. Thanks for your help.

I just ordered a gallon of Septi-Lube for obstetric use in livestock. It is blue. I called the vet and he said this is similar to what he uses. What I like about it is that it is an antiseptic like Nolvasan and lubricant in one. I got a gallon of it for a small price at ALS.
