How horrible. I take it fromt he other forum they still don't know how the toxins got in the food?
 
That is so sad. Feel sorry for all those horse owners. Hope they make sure to check the water source too.

Here's an updated report--nothing too much different except looks like the toll on horses could end up being worse:

Sounds like the grain was treated with pesticide, but if the guy has been doing the same thing for years with no problem you wonder why all of a sudden it would turn deadly? An extra potent batch of pesticide, or something different all together? The necropsies done so far show phosphine in the horses--phosphine is, I believe, found in pesticides?

Very very sad anyway.

How horrible. I can't imagine having to watch that many of them die like that. Talk about a helpless feeling.
 
What a tragedy! I just heard it on the news this AM. I cannot even imagine something like this.

I feel horrible for the horses/owners of the horses/stable. I hope there are answers soon!
