Here are a few pictures of the horses at Tunica, of just my girls.......two of the four boys had professional shoots by Shannon done, and the other two I was too tired/lazy/busy to get them out and the photographer didn't get any of them (but the one at the show last weekend, did so it will just be waiting for them, once I order)
To me, I just think this is one of "those" shots........I was happy the photographer captured it; as out showing I pay no attention to the photographer out there (who now days has lenses so big they can just sit in center ring and get these shots) but I'm more focused on the horse and judge to try, than the photographer so.......
Erica's Cloverbud - 3yr old mare; She's had a really good year showing too,
Sashey - 2 yr old mare; she'd had a great year, several Overall Grands and has finsihed her HOF, or last I checked only needed 5 points
UnBuckn' Believeable - yearling filly, she's a mess; hot as a firecracker and full of it too, she's a total chore to show, but we are trying to work on it.
Will have pics of the boys from the last show when I get them back....
Here is my little cousin, Clementine, who is 7 this year and IMO she has come leaps and bounds from last year even (and she done good then) but it's more in her confidence with the horses now, (as mine aren't um.....dead heads) but they pick up this year that she's confident in what she can do with them and they pick up on that even more and are respecting her more and more. She sets their feet and makes them mind, as well as puts the "vodoo" on them as I call it LOL......she's got the moves :bgrin and really really does try to get a "show" out of them. Her first show this year we were all on the sidelines trying not to burst out laughing at her because she was working Clover (the first one she took out this year at the first show) so hard and very serious about it. Of coure walking out of the class (as she took a youth supreme/Clover and a reserve/Sashey competeting against all ages of youth) we were all like oh Clem you done so good, have improved so much from last year....ext.......she said, I was just being a little Erica
: She does watch everything, and wants to help do everything. I think she'll be awesome if she keeps it up.
These are just a couple from the horses she showed at Tunica.....got more from the last show, but havne't gotten them ordered yet.
She's sad she's missing the next show as she is in Costa Rica with her mom and some of her photography students on a documentary trip.
She has a few more to qualify and show that I'm just now brining out, but she'll get at the next show.
