from vacation!!!!!! A good old case of the flu!!!!!!!!! I am so pi*&ed off!

I don't want this on my vacation.

Last night was the can't get warm even under the electric blankets with 2 quilts on top phase! Man this big body was aching every where! SO I am saying please God don't let me get the headache anything but the headache, well he was sleeping I guess because it hit around midnight the kind where no matter what you do it doesn't help!!!

And you hurt so bad you can't sleep but thats all you want to do. I kept falling asleep every few minutes anyway .

But had to have my Forum fix for the day so am just saying Hi :saludando: everyone and am now going back to bed.

Geez I am so mad I don't want this on my school vacation!

My husband's family gave me whatever they had at Christmas; I've been feeling crappy for two days. Coughed all night, last night, so didn't sleep much. Trying to take cold meds and drink plenty of fluids. My hot cereal tasted real good this morning.

We had the "puke bug" make the rounds through our house a few weeks ago and this year's strain is not the 24 hour kind... it is the week long kind. Had my flu shot so I am hoping to keep that virus at bay...

Working at a school doesn't help - all my "kids" are little bags of germs and the nurse's office is right across from my office!

First holiday season I haven't gained weight!

I'm back from sleeping most of the day away! I am feeling better already, I can't remember sleeping so much.

Larry took Cashew over for the vet to check him out, everything looked so good he didn't even put any cream on him!!! :aktion033: :aktion033:

Will do another vet check in a month! But I know things are great and cancer is gone!!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean about the little germ factories! My room is about 6 by10 and I get all the ones who are hacking coughing and well you know. And so many families can't afford a Dr so the poor little things just infect the whole room.

I wash the desks everyday in clorox and my desk and utensils as well but I have been sicker this year than any other........do you think it could be.........oh no........... couldn't be don't even think it...........not.......the ...........getting old thing??

Naw couldn't be I am only 64 a youngster!!!!!

Hoping beyond hope I dont end up sick again. I have seasonal allergies and until we have real cold am bothered by them all fall and since we have had fall up until yesterday have been really miserab le so it was nice to wake this morning with a clear head for the first time since Sept. Wishing you speedy recovery. Sorry you couldnt come north a bit but maybe this summer. Its only another hour and a half from where you were.

Oh Bon, I'm SO sorry you're sick!

What a bummer, especially on your mini vacation. You say you wash the desk with clorox, hope you use COLD water. A vet told me that if you use warm water with Clorox you weaken it a lot!!

Just spent 6 weeks sick...biggest problem was my thinking was so impaired! I thought I wasn't so sick! Pneumonia...and I'm a respiratory therapist! Glad you are on the mend but take this "flu" seriously. Get help and stay in touch with people being alone could land you in a world of hurt. I knew I was really sick when I didn't want to see my barn buddies. Thats sick! Be well...drink peaceful tea....give yourself time to get better. Kate#2
