My daughter, Cammie, registered her mare, Redrock Sasakwa, PtHA back last December with the idea of taking her to the PtHA World Show this year. I wasn't opposed to registering her, but not overly thrilled at showing her this year as a 3 yr old. After all, she was AMHA World Champion in Special Needs and Top 10 in Amateur Jr Mares Level 1 as a yearling and I didn't think it was wise to take her out and get her beat. I was somewhat negative and didn't have room to bring her in the barn until May.
To make a long story short, as a 3 yr old at only her [SIZE=12pt]third lifetime show[/SIZE], shown exclusively by Cammie, Sasakwa is the 2007 PtHA Reserve World Champion Miniature Senior Mare 34" and Under (unanimous decision), Top 10 (3rd) Miniature Color Mare 34" and Under and Top 10 (5th) Amateur Mare (competing against both A & B size horses). She is now officially retired to be a broodmare. Here are a couple of casual shots of her after the show and dirty! There is a pro pic coming from the show which I'm sure Cammie will post as soon as it arrives.
